Gritty real life drama. A very poignant, moving portrayal of Precious, a girl who deals with verbal and physical abuse in her day to day life and still manages to be pure of heart. Precious finds herself pregnant and this is not the first time. She tries to break free from her deprivation and puts herself from school where she is surrounded by an unconventional group of friends and finds help in the unlikeliest places.
This is very frank and honest and will make you smile and cry in equal amounts. Prepare yourself with tissues and you should manage fine.
